Salinas and Duque led the session “Entrepreneurship and Innovation: Systems, Communication, and Leadership Behind Sustainable Business Growth.” The presentation explored how growing organizations can strengthen the systems behind their businesses while addressing operational bottlenecks, communication gaps, brand consistency, technology integration, and leadership development.

Drawing from their respective leadership roles at GSIS, Salinas and Duque shared practical approaches to building scalable business processes, including professional proposals, consistent branding, follow-up systems, automation, reusable processes, and effective delegation.

The session also included an interactive technology activity designed to demonstrate how accessible tools such as Near Field Communication (NFC) can be applied to practical business situations.

“Entrepreneurship requires more than having a great idea. Sustainable growth comes from building the financial and operational structure that allows that idea to grow,” said Salinas. “Having the opportunity to share those lessons with other women in business made this experience especially meaningful.”

“Strong communication, technology, and systems allow organizations to grow with greater intention,” said Duque. “Our goal was for attendees to leave with practical ideas they could take back to their own businesses and begin applying immediately.”

The conference also provided an opportunity to connect with women from across Texas and contribute to conversations surrounding entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, and professional growth. GSIS’ participation reflects the company’s continued investment in leadership development, professional engagement, and sharing the business practices that have supported its own growth.
