GLOBAL SECURITY & INVESTIGATIVE SERVICES

Global Security and Investigative Services LLC leaders Alva Salinas and Samantha Duque will present practical strategies for entrepreneurship, innovation, leadership, and sustainable business growth.

Global Security and Investigative Services LLC (GSIS), a Texas-based security and investigative services company, is proud to announce that two members of its executive leadership team have been selected to present at the upcoming Hispanic Women’s Network of Texas (HWNT) Conference.

Alva Salinas, Chief Financial Officer and Vice President of Finance, and Samantha Duque, Vice President of Strategic Communication and Corporate Affairs, will lead the conference’s Entrepreneurship and Innovation session on Saturday, September 19, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in the Cypress room.

Their presentation, “Entrepreneurship and Innovation: Systems, Communication, and Leadership Behind Sustainable Business Growth,” will focus on the systems, financial discipline, communication strategies, and leadership practices that help entrepreneurs build organizations positioned for sustainable, long-term growth.

Together, Salinas and Duque bring more than 30 years of combined experience across finance, operations, startups, strategic communication, organizational leadership, higher education, and international partnerships.

Their session will address practical strategies for identifying operational bottlenecks, developing scalable processes, strengthening brand consistency, improving client acquisition and retention, leveraging technology, delegating effectively, and maintaining organizational culture during periods of growth.

Leadership, Mentorship, and Opportunity

Salinas and Duque share a commitment to education, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and expanding access to professional and economic opportunity. Their experiences have shaped a leadership philosophy centered on developing people, strengthening organizations, and sharing knowledge that can help others grow.

“At GSIS, we believe sustainable growth requires more than a great idea. It requires repeatable processes, intentional communication, adaptable leadership, and a willingness to continue learning,” said Duque. “We are honored to have the opportunity to share what we have learned while connecting with women who are building businesses, careers, and opportunities in communities across Texas,” said Salinas.

Their selection reflects the depth of experience within the GSIS executive leadership team and the company’s commitment to leadership development, entrepreneurship, professional education, innovation, and community engagement.

GSIS is proud to support Salinas and Duque as they represent the company and share their experience with women committed to building stronger businesses, careers, and communities across Texas.
